The Belly Dance community is a strong sisterhood of women. We, more often than not, come together to give loving support and energy to each other. That is the wonderful joy that comes with being a part of something such as this. The generosity of caring transends all else.
Love, compassion, empathy, support, strength, understanding, laughter, these are all the words that come to mind when I think of Bellydance

ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF THIS WESITE...FYI FOR ANY WHO MAY NOT UNDERSTAND.
This website and message board was created for me by my son as a surprise Christmas present. He was very happy to give me this gift and it meant a great deal to me that he went to all this work just for me. When I made a decision, last year, (2006) to shut it down, I forgot to consider his feelings...the look on face was disappointment and hurt. I deeply regret having done that. In an effort to please others I hurt my son. So I waited and then I brought it back. Because I love my son and I love his work, and I love that he loved me enough to do this.
It is mainly to be used for my students. It holds, in it's various pages, stuff about me, my students and the troupe that has been so supportive and understanding without knowing it. I offer it to anyone who is interested to read whatever I find as I surf and gather information. To give students a place of their own and to brag about the wonderful women with whom I share this interest.
With respect a mother's love is like no other but a son's love is precious. Thank you son'
